1 injured, 1 killed in stabbings at Crenshaw Nursing Home on Longwood Drive in Mid-City

Police said a man in his 60s was taken into custody.
DOWNTOWN, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — One man was injured and another died after both were stabbed to death at a Mid-City assisted-living facility Friday afternoon, police said.
The stabbing happened just before 4 p.m. at the Crenshaw Nursing Home on Longwood Drive, where officers found the two men stabbed to death, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the victim who died was a man in his 60s and the injured man was a 35-year-old.
LAPD Det. Sean Kinchla told Eyewitness News that all three people involved were residents of the facility and investigators believe the incident may have stemmed from an argument.
The suspect, described only as a man in his 50s, was taken into custody although details of his identity were not immediately available.
No other injuries were reported. The incident is being further investigated.
