2 hospitalized after mugging in New Port Richey Park, 4 arrested: police

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) – New Port Richey Police said they were responding to a “heavily armed robbery” by four people at Sims Park on Wednesday.
Police said two victims, a man and a woman, were attacked and robbed around midnight. The four suspects fled the scene after taking several of their belongings.
Due to the extent of their injuries, the victims were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, police said.
On Friday, police arrested 19-year-olds Jaquez Geovantah Osborne and Jayda Butler, 21-year-old Tayson Carter Jr. and an underage woman on second-degree robbery charges, the press release said.
