22-year-old South Carolina toy fox terrier “Pebbles” has been crowned the world’s oldest living dog by Guinness World Records

TAYLORS, SC (KABC) — A 4-pound South Carolina toy fox terrier now holds the record as the world’s oldest living dog.

“Pebbles” was born on March 28, 2000, and the 22-year-old pup shows us that everything is “peachy.”

Her owners realized she was the oldest living dog after hearing about a 21-year-old Chihuahua named “TobyKeith” – who was declared the world’s oldest living dog, according to Guinness World Records in April.

Speaking of Toby Keith, “Pebbles” apparently loves listening to country music when she sleeps.
