A cryptic “Scream 6” tweet has horror fans screaming for the official trailer

After the overwhelming success of Scream (2022) The outsized hype around earlier this year scream 6 – which is initially considered a working title – has been the talk of the town in the horror world for the last few months. At this point, however, we have yet to be rewarded with an official trailer for the sixth installment in the franchise. And yet, a recent cryptic tweet has fueled the hopes and dreams of ardent fans around the world.

As if the fanfare surrounding the upcoming horror spectacle wasn’t loud enough already, it looks like the hype is only going to increase from here on out. Over on Twitter, the official Scream account tweeted a train emoji, officially dubbed Metro by Apple. And while the aforementioned tweet seemed harmless enough, it immediately got fans praying for the trailer to be released sometime in the next few days.

in the answers, Scream Diehards happily braced for the imminent arrival of a trailer or teaser, with many believing the tweet was meant to be a cryptic message to generate further hype around the project.

Considering the upcoming installment will change the narrative and use New York City as its primary setting, people are confident that the use of the Metro train emoji was used to refer to the film’s new setting. Such a bold move would make sense as NYC is known for its heavy involvement with subways and subways.

After that was announced recently scream 6 was going to be released much sooner than expected, all of the fandom was chaotic while awaiting future updates. And while a cryptic tweet doesn’t specifically guarantee an official trailer, it’s still a positive sign that something’s lurking in the pipeline.
