CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A pedestrian suffered “non-life-threatening” injuries Tuesday night after being struck by a car in Clearwater, police said.

The accident happened around 11 p.m. in the area of ​​Hercules Avenue and Palmetto Street, police said.

According to police, Hercules Avenue was closed while the investigation was ongoing.

The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital.
