Little did Jessica Alba And Cash Warren know that the Fantastic Four would be more than just a job for her – it would be the starting point of her fairytale love story.
The couple began dating while working on the 2004 sci-fi film, in which Alba starred as Susan Storm and Warren served as production assistant. Flash forward almost four years later and this Made in America producer and the Into the blue The actress married in Beverly Hills in May 2008.
A month after their marriage, Alba and Warren gave birth to their first child, daughter Honor. The two added two more children to their family. Their daughter Haven was born in June 2011 and their son Hayes debuted on New Year’s Eve 2017.
“We make time for our relationship on a day-to-day basis — even if it’s surprisingly predictable and may not seem as exciting as our spontaneous days leading up to the birth of a child — [it] really helps keep the romance alive,” Alba explained in a blog post for iVillage in May 2012 on keeping their marriage strong.
Though the duo often stay under the radar and keep their romance fairly private, they’ve been known to pay tribute to each other — and their brood — in sweet social media posts on special occasions.
“So grateful for this band of amazing, powerful, intelligent, beautiful, strong, funny, kind, compassionate and caring women,” Warren captioned a family photo celebrating International Women’s Day in March 2019. “They are the backbone of this family and without them we would be nothing ❤️❤️ ‘A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.'”
For her part, Alba wrote a heartfelt message to her husband for his 40th birthday in January 2019.
“You are a kind father, a fun seeker, a competitor in all things, a thoughtful partner, a creative thinker, a fearless dreamer, compassionate towards strangers, mischievous but you never get caught,” the Honest Company founder wrote alongside a video collage . “You embody that childlike spirit yet are grounded enough to be a responsible adult. Your smile is contagious, my favorite moments with you are the silence in between. Waking up next to you every day feels like home…I am inspired by your ability to always live in the light, with grace and humility.”
