A wet start to your morning commute; The storms on Thursday are not that strong

Columbus, Georgia (WRBL)- Tonight’s forecasts remain uncertain and severe thunderstorms may occur until temperatures begin to drop. The early afternoon storms have already brought strong winds and small hail.
On Thursday afternoon there were again isolated showers and storms, but the serious danger remains low. In the afternoon, temperatures tend to get cooler as highs struggle to surpass the 70s mark.
After the passage of a cold front on Saturday, our chances of rain will decrease significantly and drier conditions are expected next week. Temperatures will slowly warm up again from Saturday and will peak in the low 80s in the afternoon. Readings will remain in the low to mid 80s for the remainder of the 7-day forecast.
