A woman shoots a suspect trying to break into a Hollywood Hills home, police say

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) – A woman shot and killed a man who reportedly tried to break into her home in the Hollywood Hills on Sunday, police said.

The incident was reported on Hollyridge Dr around 9:30 p.m. reported. According to police, a man called 911 to report that his wife had shot someone who was trying to break into their apartment.

LAPD officers who responded found a man at the scene who was conscious and breathing and suffering from a gunshot wound. The injured suspect was taken to a local hospital.
