Aaron Dingle crosses the finish line with stepdad Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale

CHAS Dingle was shocked to see her son had been brought back to the village by her brothers Cain and Caleb.
But the Emmerdale favorite proves he is no longer the kind-hearted boy he once was as he crosses a line with Paddy Kirk next week.
Just in time for Super Soap Week, Danny Miller reprized his role as Aaron Dingle when his ITV alter ego got into trouble.
Aaron was brought back to the village of the same name by his two uncles, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb Milligan (Will Ash).
His mother Chas (Lucy Pargeter) soon learned he was back, but the Woolpack bar manager didn’t get the family reunion she was hoping for.
As regular viewers of the Yorkshire-set drama will remember, Aaron and Chas parted on bad terms when the former decided to leave Emmerdale following the tragic death of his sister Liv Flaherty.
To top it all off, he couldn’t stand the fact that his mother was having an affair with Al Chapman behind her then-husband Paddy Kirk’s back.
Aaron has been protective of Paddy since he found out his mother was cheating on him, as the vet has been a constant source of support for him.
Unfortunately, his time in Italy has changed him significantly and Aaron is more withdrawn and cold than ever before.
Next week, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is taken aback by Aaron’s spite as the pair discuss the vet’s recent suicide attempt.
After ending his marriage to Chas earlier this year, Paddy struggled with his mental health and considered taking his own life.
Paddy is hurt but refuses to give up on Aaron, and his words seem to hit home with him.
Later, when he arrives at the Woolpack, Aaron is excited to see the family toasting the late Faith Dingle, as she was not invited.
He takes money from the cash register and leaves abruptly.
