Abbott Elementary Video: Season 2 Episode 8 – “Egg Drop”

Fancy breakfast? Good, because it’s time for the egg Abbott Elementary School!

TVLine has an exclusive look at Wednesday’s episode (ABC, 9/8c) as Janine and the other teachers prepare for the science project where students try to find ways to prevent an egg from breaking when it is dropped. However, Ava has other ideas for the eggs: she cracks one in a jar to make her “recovery potion” while hiding behind dark sunglasses. (“Strong as a bull!”)

The science teacher who is leading the project greets Jacob on his way out – and Jacob fumes at Gregory that he and the teacher have been at odds for a long time. However, Gregory would rather ask Janine if she’s sure her second years are ready for the advanced science lessons of egg dropping. Melissa is just upset that they’re wasting so many eggs on the project “when the cowboys are in town. Now I have to throw Molotov cocktails at their bus!”

Elsewhere in the episode, titled Egg Drop, “when Barbara is shocked by the clothes worn by one of her student’s parents, she learns not to judge someone based solely on their looks,” according to the official synopsis.
