Alan Wake 2 PC specifications amaze fans with their high recommended requirements

The recommended PC requirements for Alan Wake 2 are finally here and it looks like fans are looking to upgrade their GPU.

The newly announced PC requirements suggest that gamers will need at least an RTX 4070 if they want to enjoy Alan Wake 2 with ray tracing enabled. For an optimal experience, at least 90 gigabytes of storage space on an SSD hard drive is also required. Here are the recommended requirements.

Recommended (No ray tracing)

  • Resolution: 1440p
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 / Radeon RX 6600 XT
  • VRAM: 8GB
  • DLSS/FSR 2: Balanced
  • CPU: Ryzen 3700X or i7 10700
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 90GB SSD

Recommended (Ray Tracing)

  • Resolution: 1080p
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 4070
  • VRAM: 12GB
  • DLSS/FSR 2: Quality
  • CPU: Ryzen 3700X or i7 10700
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 90GB SSD

To achieve up to 4K/60fps with ray tracing enabled, Remedy recommends users use a GeForce RTX 4080 card, which is currently one of the best cards on the market. One tweet broadly expressed fan consensus on the requirements.

But in case you’re panicking, one user reminded that Alan Wake 2 might be one of the best-looking games of this generation so far.
