It’s October, which means it’s the month of Halloween. And Fortnite players know that developer Epic Games is celebrating the season this month with Fortnitemares, a spooky event that usually includes new weapons, quests, skins, and more. This year is no different, as Fortnitemares 2023 runs from now until November 3rd and brings with it Alan Wake, Michael Myers, Jack Skellington, a new shotgun, a new blade, a pumpkin launcher, a witch’s broom and more.

New Fortnite skins and outfits

One of the most exciting aspects of a new Fortnitemares Halloween event is the addition of new skins and outfits to the battle royale. And for our money, this year’s lineup is one of the best yet.

Here are four new original skins from Epic Games: the wrapped rapscallion SethDung fish BogstickMeowStrosity Phantom Meowsclesand Nautilus Festival Phaedra.

The Pumpkin King (and also the attempted King of Christmas) is joining Fortnite later during the Fortnitemares 2023 event. It will be available in the Item Shop. With him, players can get that No back accessory, Peppermint Umbrella PickaxeAnd Jack’s sleigh glider.

Plus, the Jack’s scary face emote is integrated into the outfit and you can travel with the universal on claw feet Lock, Shock and Barrel’s Tub emote as well as.

The shape, also known as Michael myers, will be available in the item shop later during the Fortnitemares 2023 event. His set appears to include a music emote, a jack-o-lantern back bling, and a knife pickaxe.

So the tortured author Alan Wakewhich will be released later this month in the upcoming Alan Wake 2, will join the item shop later during Fortnitemares 2023. You can pick up the Alan Wake outfit, a shoulder bag, a weapon and vehicle skin, and a special flashlight-style pickaxe.

New Fortnite weapons

In addition to the new skins and outfits in Fortnitemares 2023, Epic Games is adding some weapons and more to the battle royale. First is this Shotgun with wooden stakewhich can be found on the ground, in normal and rare chests and in holo chests.

You can also pick up Thorne’s Vampire Blade, which only drops once you defeat the vampire Kado Thorne. It gives you health at the expense of others – deal damage to an enemy and your health will slowly be restored.

If you’re looking for something more explosive, look no further Pumpkin launcher, return from the vault. This allows you to fire explosive Jack-o-Lanters that will terrify your opponents. It can be found on the ground, in normal and rare chests, in holo-chests, and in flying drones.

The Witch’s broom is a new Rocket Ram-style flying machine that quickly launches you into the sky, where you can glide safely to the surface below. It can be found on the ground and in chests.

In addition to these weapons, you will find various candies around the battle island, each with different effects. There are Sweetcorn, Peppermint candies, Hot dropsAnd jelly beans. What awaits you, you have to take it into your own hands to find out. Hot Drops, for example, temporarily give those who eat them a reduced gravity effect.

You can find these candies in candy buckets by ringing doorbells, defeating guards, or eliminating bosses.

Fornitemares 2023 Quests and Rewards

As with most events of this type, Epic Games has put together a few quests for players to complete during Fortnitemares 2023. What awaits you:

  • Complete 5 Fortnitemares quests to earn this Bat Royale back accessory and a Cat banner icon
  • Complete 15 Fortnitemares quests to earn this Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic autumn contrailand that Hypno bat spray
  • Complete 25 Fortnitemares quests to earn this Revenant Rider Glider, In the Sanctum loading screenand that Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track

According to Epic Games, Fortnitemares quests will become available gradually throughout the event, which runs until November 3 at 2 a.m. ET. The quests challenge you to raid Thorne’s properties, use new and unsaved Fortnitemares items, and more. There are also Fortnitemares quests that require you to earn XP in Fortnite’s Creative mode.

Fornitemares 2023 Horde Rush Mode

The limited time Horde rush The experience is back in Fortnite with Fortnitemares 2023. As a team, you have to go to different locations and survive the cube monster horde of each one. You have to survive until you defeat the final boss. As you defeat monsters, you earn points, which you can increase with combos and collectible multipliers. Horde Rush mode will be available throughout Fortnitemares 2023, which ends on November 3rd.

Here are the quests and rewards you can complete for special items:

  • Complete 1 Horde Rush quest to earn The Murk Wrap
  • Complete 4 Horde Rush quests to earn this Heart-o-lantern emoticon

More Fortnitemares 2023 updates

Along with the Fortnitemares 2023 update, the new “Quick Weapon” promotion is coming in beta form.

“When activated, Quick Weapon replaces the ‘Next Weapon’ button,” reads a Fortnite blog post. “Press Quick Weapon to equip your main item. Press one of the face buttons while pressing Quick Weapon to switch to one of the other item slots. You can press Quick Weapon and a face button at the same time to instantly switch to that item, or press and hold the Quick Weapon button for as long as you like to get used to how the buttons on the Front match the items in your inventory.

“In addition, when Quick Weapon is activated, Previous Weapon is replaced with Place Marker to make it easier to communicate with your squad. Alternatively, you can replace “Previous Weapon” with the action of your choice by customizing your controls in the Controller Customization Options. “

Elsewhere, Epic Games says that as of update v28.00, players will need to be using OS10 or later to continue playing Fortnite natively on Android. This means that Android OS9 is no longer officially supported by Epic Games for Fortnite.
