‘Andor’ fans are turning nauseous at the prospect of the galaxy’s cruelest romantic couple

This article contains spoilers for the Andor season finale

He’s an incompetent mama’s boy with a track record of slaughtering his own men. She’s a torture-loving Nazi with a great line of disgusted scorn. But together? So the Andor Season finale just introduced us to #Keero or #Sydra or maybe even #Marn.

Yup, mating lots war of stars Fan fears has happened, and it appears that there will indeed be a romantic relationship between Syril Karn and Dedra Meero for season two. In the excellent season finale, Syril stole money from his mother’s bedroom and made his way to Ferrix, where Dedra attempted to lure Cassian Andor into a trap at his mother’s funeral.

Little did they know that interfering with the funeral would unite the people of Ferrix against them, with Dedra getting caught up in the fight and panicking as she was kicked and punched by the crowd. As fate would have it, her knight appeared in shining armor and dragged her to safety. Dedra is already having a panic attack when she realizes her creepy stalker saved her and the two stare into each other’s eyes while the subtitle reads “Dedra gasps”.

So is it love at third sight? The fans get sick of the idea:

The only complaint I have for the overall amazing season is the whole questionable relationship between Syril and Dedra. I hope they address this more next season because it’s some weird shit.

We shudder to think what this disaster couple would do even though the potential for drama is off the charts. Even a single scene of Syril taking Dedra home to meet his horrible mother had us cackling like banshees. The only downside is that we have to wait a full two years to find out…
