Annual Christmas exhibitions highlight several neighborhoods in the Inland Empire

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KABC) — If you’re looking to get in the holiday spirit, there are several stunning displays throughout the Inland Empire that are already drawing large crowds.

For nearly 40 years, people from across Southern California have flocked to Rancho Cucamonga to see the lights of Thoroughbred Avenue. Some houses have more traditional decorations, others contain Disney characters and even “Star Wars”.

It has become such an attraction that the city steps in to handle all the traffic.

On a recent weekend the line of cars waiting to see the lights stretched from Thoroughbred to the 210 freeway, with an hour and a half wait to see the lights.

In Chino, more than 50 homes in and around Fillmore Street are in the Christmas spirit.

An exhibit south of Freeway 60 between Cypress and San Antonio known as the San Antonio Lights can be driven on or entered.

In Riverside, a family on Gracefield Way has been decorating their home for the last 30 years. The driveway and front walkways are lined with more than 100 scrolls with the names of children who have visited the home over the years.

And for more than a decade, nearly 30 homes along Murrieta’s Bainbridge Circle have been welcoming and dazzling visitors with their holiday lights.

And one of the most impressive displays in the Inland Empire is at McCully Court in the Moreno Valley. With Disney characters, the Muppets, Snoopy and a nativity scene, even Clark Griswold would be jealous!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the Inland Empire!
