At least 8 injured after SUV crashes into Washington DC restaurant

At least eight people were injured when an SUV crashed into a restaurant in Washington, DC on Friday.
DC’s Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) confirmed the crash and the number of casualties Twitterand said five of the eight victims were critically injured.

The other three have been treated and released, the department said.
Authorities did not immediately say which restaurant was hit, but said there was no structural damage.
