Authorities respond to stabbing video from Britney Spears' home

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to Britney Spears’ home after she posted a video on social media that showed her dancing with two knives, authorities confirmed to ABC News.

The department said it received calls from several people expressing concern about her after seeing the film.

Officers responded and spoke with Spears on Wednesday and determined she was not in danger. They also spoke to their security chief and their lawyer.

Earlier this year, Spears said “prank calls” had led to a police wellness check and that she had asked fans to respect her privacy. Authorities also determined at the time that she was safe and not in danger.
