Ben Foden’s wife Jackie is pregnant with their second child after three devastating miscarriages

BEN Foden’s wife Jackie is pregnant with their second child after three devastating miscarriages.
The couple gave birth to daughter Farrah three years ago and said they were overjoyed to be pregnant again.
Jackie, who married former rugby star Ben, 38, in 2019 after just two weeks of dating, said: “We are so excited about a second baby.”
She opened up about her tragic miscarriages and added: OK! magazine: “I was constantly happy about the pregnancies, but nothing stuck.”
“It’s hard not to get your hopes up when you really want another baby.”
Jackie revealed that she takes supplements to control her progesterone levels and has her blood levels monitored regularly because she has “a marginal umbilical cord insertion, which means the umbilical cord is implanted in the wrong place, increasing the risk of pregnancy.”
She added: “The first pregnancy was around seven or eight weeks, and the others were much earlier, so we wanted to wait to make sure everything was OK with this pregnancy. Besides, at my age, a lot of things can go wrong.”
As well as Farrah, three, Ben also shares Aoife Belle, 11, and eight-year-old Tadgh with his ex-wife Una Healy.
In March this year, Ben announced his retirement from professional rugby after 18 years.
