Big Bear fire: Evacuations ordered as Radford bushfire burns down more than 50 acres

BIG BEAR, Calif. (KABC) — Evacuations are ordered near Big Bear as a bushfire spreads to at least 50 acres and threatens homes.
The Radford Fire was first sighted around 2 p.m. in an area between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski areas.
It burned at least 50 acres in the San Bernardino National Forest. Firefighters fought the flames from the ground and from the air.
Four air tankers and four helicopters make landings with at least 140 personnel.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has ordered evacuations from Glass Road to South Fork River Road.
State Route 38 is closed in both directions from Mill Creek Road to Lakewood Road, according to Caltrans.
The evacuated area is in the community of Seven Oaks.
