Big Brother’s Craig Coates is unrecognizable 18 years after the series after getting a tattoo and joining the Navy

Former Big Brother star Craig Coates looks completely different now, 18 years after filming his appearance on the reality show.

The season six contestant survived in the Big Brother house until just two days before the finale.

Craig was a 20-year-old hairdresser in Norfolk at the time and described himself as “fit, imaginative and sneaky”.

Now the reality star is unrecognizable after getting inked and joining the Navy.

Although he still looks just as sassy as he did on the show, the gay icon now sports two full sleeves of ocean-style tattoos.

He also wears an unknown phrase in a semicircle under his collarbone.

On Big Brother in 2005, the young man wore his hair in a spiky updo that was popular at the time.

Now Craig has a short haircut and no longer likes to be clean shaven and sport a light mustache and stubble.

He joined the army for a stint in 2013, but has since returned to his first love: hairdressing.

During his time in the Big Brother House, he developed a close friendship with eventual winner Anthony Hutton.

The pair worked the same job and appeared to strike up a friendship during the show, but after Craig was kicked out of the house, Anthony claimed he was “obsessed”.
