Bob Hearts Abishola: United States of Al’s Adhir Kalyan Cast in Season 4

Bob Hearts Abishola has registered United States of Al‘s Adhir Kalyan for an upcoming episode – and we can’t help but feel partly responsible.

Four months ago, TVLine released Dream Roles for Stars of Canceled TV Shows, an annual feature where we offer new roles for actors from recently ended shows. At the top of our list was former performer of the week Kalyan, who we thought would be a great match for him B❤️Aas a colleague/potential love interest for Bob’s sister Christina (played by Maribeth Monroe).

Which brings us to our exclusive preview of Monday’s episode (CBS, 8:30/7:30c), which reveals that Kalyan actually plays Christina’s colleague – a fellow Toesey Woesies named Jared. Whether anything else will come of it between the two remains to be seen, but the self-proclaimed marketing nerd is clearly an admirer of Christina’s work.

The guest spot hits Kalyan again Al Executive Producer Chuck Lorre. It comes just weeks after TVLine exclusively reported that Kalyan’s former co-star Parker Young will be getting back together Al Co-creator Maria Ferrari on Fox call me cat. (We recently spoke to Ferrari about what would have happened in a third season of United States of Alwhich you can read more about here.)

Press PLAY on the clip above, then hit the comments and let us know if you’re looking forward to Monday’s Christina-centric episode Bob Hearts Abishola.
