Bruce Campbell Agrees Pizza Poppa Was Robbed By The Oscars

As the list of nominees for the 95th Academy Awards rolls in, a lot of discussion has ensued given all the names missing from the nomination list. By Seth Rogen in The Fablemans to Batman‘s snubs, the academy’s decisions were not received with kindness. One particular name that was obviously missing was that of Pizza Poppa itself.
If you remember in Marvel’s Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Bruce Campbell played the legendary takeaway delivery man trying to get his money back for the “stolen” pizza poppa bites. Needless to say, Campbell’s spectacular performance took an even bigger turn when the actor had to punch himself multiple times after casting a spell that forced the salesman to continuously harm himself for three weeks. This award-worthy performance is as dear to the hearts of the audience as is Campbell, who is vehemently upset about it very obvious Oscar nudge.
The legendary horror actor’s hilarious cameo appearance, albeit a gig taking part in the many MCU gags throughout the franchise, is also the target of many jokes around the fans, who simply had to take the opportunity to crack a joke or two about the situation close.
In addition to his cameo in the film as Doctor Strange and America Chavez stroll the streets of New York, Pizza Poppa actually had a deleted scene that should have been added as a post-credits scene. Of course, this has also been the aim of several comments mentioning the ultimate importance of Campbell’s role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Why would you delete that? This is the best indication of what is to come in this phase and a much needed one. Pizza Poppa is the next Thanos!

While the lack of nominations for this untouchable act is absolutely bewildering, the Pizza Poppa will certainly never be forgotten for his services, and for many he will remain the next Marvel villain in their hearts.
