Bruce Springsteen’s promoter says The Boss will be fit for his shows in Ireland next year and promises tickets

BRUCE Springsteen will campaign for a series of big outdoor concerts here next year, his Irish promoter says.
Last month, The Boss announced he was postponing live concerts for the remainder of 2023 on the advice of doctors treating him for stomach ulcers.
But promoter Peter Aiken promised Bruce will be fully recovered for his performances in Ireland next year.
And Peter said that although the musician is now 74, he looks and feels decades younger.
Speaking from the US, Peter told The Irish Sun: “I’m not a doctor but these ulcers were a bit of a problem. I can tell you, Bruce is 74, but he’s in the body of a 40-year-old man. His fitness is incredible.
“He is fit and trains seriously.”
In 2024, Bruce and his E Street Band will perform a monster show in Croke Park, Dublin on May 19th.
They will previously perform at Boucher Road in Belfast on May 9th, Nowlan Park in Kilkenny on May 12th and Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on May 16th.
Peter added: “Bruce has played in the biggest stadiums in the world.
“But he feels there is a different, unique reaction in every part of Ireland.

“He’ll come on the phone and say: ‘What about Kilkenny this time?’
“He loves the place – the last time he was there he was playing Born In The USA.”
The new Springsteen dates follow superstars Taylor Swift and Coldplay selling out huge concerts in the capital next year.
And Peter said there is demand for the performances. He said: “People want to see the megastars and they get a great world-class show.”
Tickets go on sale for the Irish dates at 8am next Monday, with The Boss sticking to a fair pricing structure for its shows.
An industry source told us: “Bruce has no VIP tickets, no fan club pre-registration and no additional Gold Circle costs.
“Tickets at the same price”
“Bruce wants all his tickets to be the same price.”
Irish fans were quick to embrace the news of Springsteen’s return. One wrote on X: “He’s coming home bruuuuuce,” while another commented: “Can’t wait!!”.
Tickets are sure to sell quickly as Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band delivered “the greatest show in the world” across Europe last summer, according to Billboard.
Kicking off on May 5th in Cardiff, Wales, Springsteen and The E Street Band will bring their 2024 world tour to Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, France, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Sweden, and Norway – before being booked in the UK with a date at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 25.
