California’s flavored tobacco ban, approved by voters via Proposition 31, is now in effect after being challenged by the Supreme Court

California’s ban on flavored tobacco went into effect Wednesday.
This comes after the Supreme Court last week denied a request by the tobacco industry to block the state from enforcing the law.
According to the new law, flavored tobaccos for e-cigarettes, menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars can no longer be sold commercially.
State voters approved the ban when they voted on Proposition 31 in November.
