Call of Duty games may be added to Game Pass soon

A number of current titles from the call of Duty Franchises have appeared on Xbox Game Pass deals, and while it doesn’t confirm anything, it could be a good indication of these games arriving on the service, as has been the case with Bethesda titles in the acquisition process.

After both were delayed redcase and starfield by 2023, Microsoft is expected to have an impressive showcase with huge announcements over the next month to bridge the gap. As always, Game Pass should be the core of this showcase, and now that the company can’t ship enough first-party titles for the service, they need to make more deals with third-party providers.

While Activision-Blizzard is set to become a Microsoft subsidiary if responsible organizations confirm the deal, we can’t expect Activision titles to arrive on Game Pass before the deal is finalized. However, Microsoft’s current critical situation regarding missing AAA games for 2022 could change plans.

Call of Duty titles have popped up on the Xbox Game Pass Deals page and it probably means something!

That games are listed on Xbox Game Pass Deals isn’t worth mentioning, but if we look back at a similar situation with Bethesda titles, it does ring the bell!

Before adding the full catalog of Bethesda games to Game Pass, Microsoft listed a number of them on Xbox Game Pass Deals, allowing subscribers to purchase these titles at a discount.

Now that the same is happening with a number of high profile Activision Blizzard Titleincluding Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remasteredand Diablo 2 revivedwe can assume that Microsoft may have reached an agreement with Activision to add some popular games to Game Pass before the deal closes.

That being said, we still suggest that you take it with a grain of salt and wait for the official presentation from Microsoft and Bethesda, which will go live on June 12th. Call of Duty games may be added to Game Pass soon
