Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Live Action brings a CoD lobby to life

Activision has released a live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. In the game, Task Force 141 reunites to fight another global battle, but this is not a campaign trailer. Instead, it’s a revival of Activision’s “There’s a Soldier in Every One of Us” series.

A young person finds his way into a “lobby”, a Call of Duty lobby that comes to life and where a large group of characters are waiting to go into battle. The video, directed by John Wick’s David Leitch, stars 21 Savage, Devin Booker and Central Cee. The characters Ghost, Gaz, Makarov, Valeria and Graves also appear. Check out the video below.

Modern Warfare III is a direct sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare II. Typically, Activision doesn’t release direct sequels in consecutive years, but that’s what’s happening this year. Many shop packs, weapons, and items from Modern Warfare II are carried over to Modern Warfare III.

Modern Warfare III releases on November 10th, but anyone who pre-orders the game can start playing the campaign mode a week early. Warzone is also getting a big update this year with the release of a new map, Urzikstan.

Players recently got a chance to try out Modern Warfare III’s multiplayer mode in the current beta, and we found it to be both sweaty and nostalgic.

Microsoft recently acquired Activision Blizzard and the Call of Duty series, but the franchise will remain on PlayStation for at least the next decade. This year’s game also includes PlayStation-exclusive content, but that may no longer be the case for future series.

Additionally, Call of Duty’s big Halloween event, The Haunting, is now taking place.
