Now that it’s officially in front of the cameras, we’ve got the final stream of casting news and set photos Captain America: New World Order has left Marvel fandom wondering: Is this actually the fourth Lid film or is it secret The Incredible Hulk 2? Not only is Harrison Ford our new Thunderbolt Ross, but Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler return as Samuel Sterns and Betty Ross after missing the MCU in 15 years.

For New world order to really be a real backdoor hulk In the sequel, however, another familiar face from Marvel’s past needs to be added into the mix. Someone who, in all honesty, could be called the most overlooked MCU character of them all. While the one movie appearance they have to their name isn’t real The incredible Hulk, they must return if the MCU is to properly address Bruce Banner’s legacy and the cloak of the Green Goliath. Who remembers Dr. Helen Cho?

As represented by the future Fantastic Beasts Star Claudia Kim played Helen Cho in a key role Avengers: Age of Ultron as a genius ally of the superhero team and bizarrely has never been seen since. It’s possible that her terrifying experience of being mind controlled by Ultron to aid him in his quest for world domination has led to her retiring from her field, but since 2015 there have certainly been numerous occasions when the earth could have benefited from her brain.

Why cap 4‘s Hulk story needs Helen, comic book readers might be able to answer that. In the source material, Helen is the mother of Amadeus Cho, also known as the Totally Awesome Hulk, a successor to Bruce’s mantle. With the MCU currently heavily focused on the next generation of heroes, Amadeus is poised to make its live-action debut. And since the current present of the franchise is roughly 2026 at this point, it’s entirely possible that Helen could have a teenage son when she returns.

While Steve Rogers’ legacy will no doubt take center stage New world order, it will also have to explore the expansion of the Hulk mythos thanks to the leader acting as an antagonist and rumors suggesting that both Ross and Betty Red will become She-Hulk. Now would be the perfect time to sow the seeds for the next Jade Giant set to enter the fray, and finally giving Helen Cho a second try is key.

Captain America: New World Order scheduled for release on May 3, 2024.
