Captured on video: group pushes large shark back into the sea in Hermosa Beach

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. (KABC) — One of the ocean’s biggest predators – a shark – was spotted off the shore of Hermosa Beach and caught on camera.

A group of people were fishing at night on Friday when a man walked by as they struggled with their catch.

He walked over and found it wasn’t a fish but a rather large shark. Everyone then worked together to release the shark. In the video, the men can be seen in almost chest-deep water as they attempt to force the shark back into the sea.

No one was injured in the incident, and it’s unclear exactly what species of shark it was.
