Celebrity SAS star Teddy Soares bursts into tears in heartbreaking scenes as he ‘faces demons’

CELEB SAS Who Dares Wins star Teddy Soares breaks down in tears as he faces his ‘demons’ in the dark TV series.
The 28-year-old reality TV personality, who now stars in the Channel 4 show, rose to fame when he appeared on ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2021.
Now Teddy has swapped the Mallorca villa for the hardcore surroundings of the Celeb SAS camp – and in a teaser clip for tonight it appears the grueling physical and emotional challenge is what he’s up against.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, he can be seen breaking down in tears as he expresses the lack of contact with his mother.
It begins with Teddy being brought into a darkened room in his pants to chat with the special forces team.
He reveals candidly: “If you had asked me two or three years ago whether you needed contact with your own mother, I would have told you: ‘No, I don’t care.’
“If I answer now, but… I think I’m just tired of not knowing this part of me,” as tears filled his eyes.
He was then asked if he had contacted his parents, to which he replied: “No. I just wasn’t brave enough.”
“And I think the only thing really stopping me is myself.”
In his video caption, Teddy added: “I address the scars I’ve kept hidden.”
“It’s a hard process, but that’s where true strength comes from.”
Fans were quick to react to the raw confession, with one commenting: “You can do it Teddy.”
Another said: “Incredibly strong and brave”, while a third added: “Proud of you.”
Meanwhile, speaking to The Sun ahead of the new series, the former Love Island contestant complained about ending up at the bottom of the ditch alongside Danielle Lloyd, Gareth Gates and Perri Shakes-Drayton.
Reflecting on his war injuries, he said: “I was in a wheelchair the whole airport so it was very painful. It was like a week-long recovery period.”
“The trench foot made walking so difficult. The same was true for Gareth, Danielle and Perri.”
“When we first came out, of course we had the therapy session and the conversations. But I couldn’t overcome the pain and it affected me almost the last day I was there.”
On a happier note, Teddy revealed exclusively to The Sun that he has found romance six months after his split from Love Island partner Faye Winter.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he revealed: “I’m in love at the moment. Well, maybe I shouldn’t say loved, but I see someone and I’m really happy.”
“It’s still early and I won’t say who it is. We just take our time and get to know each other. I think at this stage we’re just learning about each other and becoming best friends, which is really the case. “Pretty.”

He continued: “She makes me very happy. She has total charisma. I’m not sure if I should say all this since I’ve never talked about her before, but yeah, I’m into her.”
“She may not know it, but yes, I’m really into her.”
