The horror series chucky Season 2 arrives just in time for Halloween. The Killer Doll made the leap from film to television last year and was a hit. chucky Creator Don Mancini and cast members also attended a Television Critics Association panel on September 15 to discuss the new season. Here is when and where to see chucky Season 2 and what you’ll see in it.
Chucky Season 2 Release Schedule
The season premiere of chucky Season 2 is October 5 at 9 p.m. Like the first season chucky airs on Syfy as well as in the US. This is a weekly series, so you only get one hour of it chucky every week and then you have to turn it on again. In fact, it’s even less than an hour because both Syfy and USA have ads.
It’s Chucky against the Catholic Church
In the final of chucky In Season 1, Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alivia Alyn Lind) foiled Chucky’s plans to deliver a batch of possessed dolls to charity. But surviving Chucky isn’t easy. chucky In Season 2, Chucky will follow the trio to a Catholic boarding school, an idea Mancini had during the film series.

“I think every religion presupposes a belief in the supernatural,” Mancini said. “Well, the fact that Chucky overlaps with that, I just think it’s really interesting. One of the things we’ve always found is that Chucky is often at his most entertaining when he’s subverting the status quo and/or stalking authority figures, and piercing that kind of thoughtless trust or hypocrisy of people or institutions. So it’s a fun arena to let go of Chucky.
Devon Sawa is back as a new character
Apparently Arthur, Arnarson and Lind are back. So is Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky. Jennifer Tilly returns as Tiffany and even Fiona Dourif as Nica, her prisoner. But also Devon Sawa, who played twins in Season 1, both of whom have already died! Now Sawa plays Father Bryce, the school’s pastor and principal.

“I was excited when I got the news that I was coming back,” Sawa said. “I loved that from the start. I loved doing season 2, season 1. This character was a little easier to play than the last two jerks I played. It was a great time. I had so much fun with this thing and I’m just happy to be a part of it and get 10% off my Chucky stuff, which by the way is on Hot Topic.”
There are some new characters chucky Season 2. The trio meet Nadine (Bella Higginbotham) at school. Meanwhile, Tiffany welcomes some of Tilly’s celebrity friends and the return of her twins. Glen and Glenda (Lachlan Watson).
