An everlasting kind of love! Claire Holt has found the perfect partner in her husband Andrew Joblon.
The originals The alum revealed in July 2017 that she began dating the real estate executive nearly eight months after splitting from her ex-husband Matthew Kaplan.
Holt and Joblon became engaged five months later. “My heart is so full,” she gushed via Instagram in December 2017, sharing a photo of her diamond ring.
The couple tied the knot in August 2018 in a dreamy, flower-filled ceremony in Beverly Hills.
“Blow above my weight class,” Joblon quipped Instagram in November 2021 after uploading a picture of the couple on the red carpet.
The Australian actress and businessman have also expanded their family over the years. The two share son James, born March 2019, and daughter Elle, born September 2020, after previously suffering a miscarriage.
“I’ve never felt so broken in my life,” Holt wrote via Instagram of the loss of her pregnancy in March 2018. “I thought about sharing this so early and I’m still scared of making such a private fight public, but I’m doing it anyway because it’s important. After my D&C, I spent hours searching the internet for women who had been through it.”
She added at the time: “I really wanted to find someone, someone who understood what I was feeling. Someone who told me that depression and hopelessness were normal. That it wasn’t my fault. That I wasn’t broken forever I found a community of women who shared exactly my experiences.”
The Vampire Diaries Alum also leaned on Joblon for support.
“It was just amazing to have a partner who was tirelessly there for me and so supportive and fighting his own pain to help me through all of this,” Holt said exclusively Us weekly in February 2019. “It was also a really nice experience. Of course, what we went through was tragic, but it brought us much closer together. And I think it’s difficult to say that because I would have loved to have had the baby and gotten through the pregnancy…but I wouldn’t change it because I’ve learned so much and it’s really strengthened our relationship.”
While raising their rainbow babies, Holt and Joblon confirmed in May 2023 that they are expecting their third child.
