Columbus police are investigating the early morning shooting on 31st Avenue.

COLUMBUS, Georgia (WRBL) – Columbus police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a woman injured.

Police were dispatched to the 150 block of 31st Avenue at approximately 5:05 am on May 23.

Minutes later, police said, the female victim arrived at Circle K on Wynnton Road with gunshot wounds.

The victim is in stable condition at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital.
