Counter-Strike 2 is suddenly available

Counter-Strike 2 was announced earlier this year, arriving about four days ahead of its promised summer release window (the first day of fall was September 23rd). Now it’s suddenly available on Steam. You can check out the game’s launch trailer below.

The game has been playable in limited testing form for some time and there were rumors that the game would be released soon, but it’s still a surprise that the game is suddenly available on Steam. It has taken the place of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam and acts as an update for that game.

Below are some details from a press release regarding the game’s official release.
