Crypto Price Today: Bitcoin remains near $25,800, Ether and Litecoin see minor increases

Bitcoin posted small gains for the third day in a row on Thursday, September 7th. The most expensive cryptocurrency registered a small gain of 0.16 percent and was trading at a price of $25,825 (approximately Rs 21.4 lakh). In the last 24 hours, the value of BTC has increased by $59 (approximately Rs. 4,905). According to industry experts, this minor but sudden rise in BTC price could be influenced by the FASB’s approval of a favorable method for companies to handle cryptos in their financial filings.
Ether joined Bitcoin on Thursday, posting gains on Thursday. At the time of writing, ETH was trading at $1,637 (approximately Rs 1.36 lakh), having increased in price by 0.49 percent.
“The price of BTC remained in a tight range for another day despite BTC trading below $25,500 (approximately Rs 21 lakh) and above USD 26,000 (approximately Rs 21.6 lakh) on Binance for a very brief period of time. The small crash and rise occurred around the same time as news broke that major tech investor Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest had filed for a spot Ethereum ETF in the US. This is the first such attempt in the United States to list such a fund that invests directly in the second largest digital asset by market capitalization. However, ETH (-0.1 percent) also traded flat,” Shubham Hudda, Senior Manager, CoinSwitch Markets Desk, told Gadgets 360.
Binance Coin, USD Coin, Polkadot, Litecoin, Shiba Inu, Avalanche, Leo and Chainlink recorded small gains.
“As far as altcoins go, Sam Altman-linked WorldCoin saw a big rally yesterday, with WLD gaining over 20 percent in the last 24 hours. This rally came amid the recent rise in other AI-related coins such as NMR (+3.31 percent) and FET (+2.43 percent). This also makes render token RNDR (+2.72 percent) one of the coin contenders that investors are eyeing today,” Hudda added.
According to CoinMarketCap, the total crypto market capitalization has increased by 0.34 percent in the last 24 hours, bringing the sector valuation to $1.04 trillion (approximately ₹86,39,077 crore).
Meanwhile, Ripple, Dogecoin, Solana, Cronos, Elrond and Bitcoin SV were among the losing cryptocurrencies.
Cartesi, Ardor and Circuits of Value also posted slight losses on Thursday.
