Dahmer Trailer Release Date: Evan Peters as Jeffrey Dahmer, Netflix

Evan Peters and Ryan Murphy team up to tell a new American horror story – only this one is all too real.

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming limited series Dahmer – Monsters: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer (or dahmershort), starring Peters as the infamous serial killer who took the lives of 17 people before being arrested in 1991. We also have a premiere date: dahmer debuts on the streamer next Wednesday, September 21st.

dahmer “is a series that uncovers these ruthless crimes centered around the underserved victims and their communities affected by the systemic racism and institutional policing failures that have enabled one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue his killing spree for over a decade to continue in front of everyone,” reads the official description.

Murphy serves as co-creator, along with frequent collaborator Ian Brennan, as well as executive producer. dahmer received a series commission on Netflix in 2020, with Peters being cast the following year. The cast also includes Richard Jenkins (The shape of the water) and Molly Ringwald (Riverdale) as Jeffrey’s father and stepmother Lionel and Shari, along with Michael Learned (The Waltons) and Niecy Nash-Betts (claws).
