Although Below deck Mediterranean Season 7 is packed with drama, with some viewers taking to social media to say they can’t get new Below Deck Med Main Stew, Natasha Webb.
Webb’s hot-and-cold relationship with chef Dave White and non-stop texting with her beau took the wind out of some viewers’ sails.
Why is Webb not resonating with viewers? Showbiz Cheat Sheet spoke up Sailing yacht below deck Chef Stew Daisy Kelliher, who offered her some insight into why Webb might have missed the mark and wondered if that was new Below Deck Med Chief Stew landed on the show at a difficult time in her life.
Daisy said Natasha was “difficult to watch” and felt sorry for her
“It’s hard to see, to be honest, and I certainly feel sorry for her,” Kelliher said. “Like, oh god, I’m so lucky I wasn’t. If you just missed the target, they will just start chasing you.”

Kelliher described what Under deck Viewers want to see of a boss stew on the show. “They want support. They want people who support their team and they want people who argue with the guest, not with each other,” she shared.
“And they want to feel like they do in their own work,” Kelliher continued. “The customer is an asshole and they love their team. Unfortunately for her, things went wrong with the initial Dave thing and the Natalya [Scudder] thing, and yeah, Bravo viewers just don’t like that.”
Stew Natalya Scudder finally went to Captain Sandy Yawn about Webb and Stew Kyle Viljoen spending more time gossiping than working.
Shooting Below Deck Med is tough when you’re not in good mental shape
Kelliher added Under deck Viewers love a Chief show who can run a team while getting a little keen on the guests. “They really want to see a chief stew who’s good on their team and hates the guests,” she added. “So I feel bad for it [Webb], it’s not easy to see. There [after Kate Chastain and Hannah Ferrier] apart from me and Aesha, there hasn’t been a chef’s stew that has been so persistent [Scott from Below Deck Down Under]. So Natasha gets a bad run.”
Kelliher also empathized with Webb, sharing that going onto reality television can be especially brutal for people who aren’t at their best at this point in their lives. “I’m really lucky because mentally I’ve always been in really good shape whenever I’ve done a show,” she said. “God forbid I do the show when I’m in a bad place mentally. Because I can also go crazy and do irrational things. There will always be one [the crew members] in there. So you just walk on the show and pray it won’t be you.
