‘Dancing With the Stars’: Len Goodman to Leave as Judge After Season 31

Len Goodman’s office at Dancing with the stars Podium gets a new cast in Season 32.
Goodman, who has since been part of the reality competition series of its inception, announced during Monday’s semifinals that he would be stepping down after the current 31st cycle.
“I’ve been on the show since it began in 2005 and it was such a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful show,” Goodman shared to a standing ovation from the studio audience. “But I’ve decided I want to spend more time with my grandchildren and family in the UK. I can’t thank you enough my goodness Dancing with the stars Family. It’s been such a wonderful experience for me and I’m so looking forward to next week’s final.”
Goodman has served as Dancehas been a head judge since season 1 and has participated in all but two seasons during the show’s 17-year run, having skipped seasons 21 and 29. In addition to panel staples Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli also attending Dance Since its inception, Goodman has been joined on the podium by siblings and dance professionals Julianne Hough and Derek Hough.
Dancing with the starsThe season 31 finale will stream live on Monday, November 21 at 8:7 a.m. on Disney+, where the show first streamed this fall after moving from long-time home ABC.
