Dauntless adds a new beast, new radiant escalation, and new items in Return to Light

fearless’ reported that 30 million players have some new things to do with the launch of the Return to Light update this week, especially if they want to beat the Chronovore even further or take on a new challenge as the update introduces a new escalation and a new introduces Behemoth.

In the newly released Radiant Escalation, players will battle the slightly swinging Chronovore as the mode’s keystone encounter, meaning it has been removed from the hunting ground of Paradox Breaks. In its place is the Alyra, a winged beast that has the ability to switch its elemental power between fire, frost, shock, or earth and poison on the fly. Tangentially, the Chronovore was tuned down, while the Paradox Breaks removed beasts with Elder Spikes or Primal Pylon modifiers, lowered the cost of using the Paradoxicon, and made the Alyra the final encounter of the island’s signature event.

Of course, fighting Alyra will reward some new armor and weapons that offer a switchable perk that can either deal big radiation damage or shield friends in a radius. There is also a new perk in the animated mobility cell that increases movement speed as stamina drains, in addition to new challenges and rewards in the ongoing season and two new Hunt Passes that offer new and returning rewards.

Return to Light further customizes the escalation mode in a number of ways, such as: B. Replacing the Strega’s Tonic talent with the Strega’s Harvester talent, which grants a percentage increase in double parts of monster fractures in the mode; Optimizations to certain modifiers and amps; and removing the additional wound health scaling in Heroic Escalation and Trials. Other updates include changes to axes, a new Trial Mode reward, and various UI changes.
