DCU trolls are blamed for an alleged Superman contender deleting socials

James Gunn has gone on record as not even considering the possibility of casting the lead in his superman Reboot until the script is written, but that hasn’t stopped several contenders from establishing themselves as frontrunners in fan casting.
Jacob Elordi was the name that caused this Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad Director to end the latest rumours, but he’s far from the only candidate being circulated in online circles. 25-year-old Wolfgang Novogratz has all the paper tools to succeed as a man of steel, and there’s plenty of fan-made artwork circulating to back it up.
He has the height, physique, square jaw, and relatively unknown profile to succeed as the next iteration of Kal-El, but whoever secures the role will inevitably face a lot of backlash just for being it’s not Henry Cavill, and that particular mood isn’t going to calm down any time soon.
To that end, Novogratz mysteriously deleted his Instagram account, and it wasn’t long before conspiracy theorists were pointing the finger of blame at DCU trolls that were flooding his timeline with negativity. There isn’t a shred of evidence at this point to back this up, and there are a thousand reasonable explanations as to why he gave up the social media ship, but since when did Twitter ever need facts to get in the way of a good story ?
