Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of Blood, brings a new vampire-focused season for players to immerse themselves in. The new season brings new seasonal items, quests and objectives, as well as a major balance update, which Blizzard assured players was not about nerfing powerful builds. This season also marks the launch of Diablo 4 on Steam.
The Diablo 4 Season 2 Battle Pass offers 90 reward tiers, 28 of which are free rewards, 20 of which are not cosmetic items, but rather Smoldering Ashes that provide buffs throughout the season. The Premium version, which costs 1,000 Silver (approximately $10), includes two full armor sets, 19 weapon cosmetics, 10 emotes, and 7 mount cosmetics. The premium version also includes 700 silver. There is also an accelerated version that includes 20 level jumps and the Vampire’s Rest emote in addition to the Premium Battle Pass for 2,800 Silver (approximately $28).
The balance updates weren’t the only big changes coming to Diablo 4 as part of Season 2. First, changes to the inventory and hiding system that should reduce the number of trips to the blacksmith and general inventory clutter. An update to the XP system should also massively reduce endgame grind, especially grind up to level 100. Most endgame activities, such as Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons, now offer much more XP for completion.
The new Season of Blood story missions focus on vampires and the newly introduced powers are vampire powers, of which there are 22. Acquiring the powers is easy, but you will also need to purchase new pieces of armor that have the Vampire Pacts attached to them in order to activate these new abilities. Here’s everything you can unlock in the Diablo 4 Season 2 Battle Pass.
