Don’t miss the post-credits scene of the “Andor” finale

This article contains spoilers for the Andor season finale

That Andor The season finale is here and it’s everything we dreamed of. Almost all of the characters joined Ferrix for Maarva Andor’s funeral, with the ISB setting a trap to catch Cassian and Luthen’s rebel cell and kill him for knowing too much. But neither group could hold its own against the collective might of the Ferrixians, who, inspired by Maarva’s self-praise, rose up against the Imperials in an explosive and tense battle scene.

The finale delivered on almost every level, with the closing scenes showing how Cassian devoted his life to the rebel cause under Luthen. But, unique to Andorthe show doesn’t stop when the credits roll.

The show’s final moments take us into outer space, where we finally learn what the objects assembled in prison on Narkina 5 were for. Droids fit them into a gigantic copper array, and if we zoom out we see that it’s the Death Star’s superlaser being built just outside the station.

Cassian will eventually give his life to retrieve the Death Star’s plans, so this is a great call to action on the events of Villain One. Presumably over the next season we will see Rebels begin to learn more about and begin the fight against the ultimate Imperial superweapon, with Cassian ready to do whatever it takes for the cause.

Season two is currently filming in the UK and will be an agonizing two years before its release. Nevertheless, we are sure that the wait will be worth it.
