EASTENDERS fans were saddened by the sudden disappearance of beloved character Eve Unwin from the screen.

The strong-willed Walford resident has built one army from fans who were dissatisfied with the character’s lack of screen time in the last week.

Eva has been a central figure in many storylines throughout the year, having managed to squeeze herself into many of them Neighbors life and drama.

The character played by Heather Pearce is best known for her passionate affair and hilarity with Suki Panesar, one of the series’ leading actresses.

Although the relationship is now on hold, Eve has had to integrate into other people’s relationships Business to cause some excitement in Walford.

It seems she hasn’t had much luck over the last two weeks as she rarely appeared on the BBC soap Opera – a move that made fans scream.

When they took to X – formerly Twitter – many wondered where she had disappeared to.

One Eve fan said: “WHERE IS EVE???!!!”

Another added: “Where is Eve? I miss her S&M.”

Before a third referred to her final main episode, which saw her caught up in yet another drama that had nothing to do with her – Stacey’s secret pursuit by Theo.

They asked, “Where are Stacey Theo and Eve?”

Eve managed to find herself in Stacey’s house just as Freddie thought he had killed his former teacher.

Always striving to remain level-headed, she often acts as if she knows what is best to do in a situation, although she regularly gives the impression that she is simply saying something and hoping for the best.

Eva has a desire to do good in the world, even if that often comes with a lot of mistakes.

She’s a force to be reckoned with and tries to stand up for what she believes in, but when things go wrong, she disappears to avoid picking up the pieces.
