The email explained that the Hunter Biden laptop story and the evidence discussed in it were probably all entirely fabricated — that it had “all the classic hallmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Although they admitted in the letter they did not know whether Hunter Biden’s emails to the New York Post were “genuine” and contained no “evidence of Russian involvement,” the intelligence authors suggested a “laptop operation” aimed at “discrediting Biden”. .. would align with some of the key methods Russia has used in its now multi-year operation to interfere in our democracy.

Not only had the Post been banned from posting about a story relevant to the 2020 election, but users were also banned from sharing links to the article about Hunter Biden’s party with his father and a representative of the Ukrainian gas company covering his bills paid.

Users who clicked the link were hit a warning which said: “The link you are trying to access has been identified as potentially spam or unsafe by Twitter or our partners.”
