Elon Musk launches Twitter poll to gauge Donald Trump’s potential reinstatement
At this stage, it almost feels like it Elon Musk is intentionally wrecking Twitter because we’re running out of explanations for why someone would feel the need to spend $44 billion on something that’s so ingrained in the public consciousness, only to antagonize almost everyone.
Next on the Tesla CEO’s hit list is the potential reinstatement of home alone 2 Star, former reality TV host and WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump, which is admittedly a development that seems increasingly and worryingly inevitable since Musk decided the scorched-earth approach was the best way to get involved with the Twitter endearing to the masses using.
The poll only started a few hours ago, but over seven million votes have already been cast, and a quick scroll through the comments and replies reveals that a war is already brewing online that has become part of daily discourse over an app that’s slowly getting into descend the fiery depths of Hell.
What’s even more annoying is that the results are fairly evenly spread as the poll continues to gather momentum. As of this writing, 53.6 percent of those who took the plunge and cast their vote to allow the man Steve Austin Stone Cold Stunner at WrestleMania back onto the platform.
Hopefully people will just decide to ignore Musk’s latest ramblings about his new toy, which is getting less and less shiny by the day, but there’s a big orange specter lurking over the site right now that we might not be able to escape.
