Elvis Presley’s dreams will be fulfilled by the one person entrusted with his legacy

In order for Elvis Presley’s legacy to remain intact, a critical matter needed to be addressed after his death on August 16, 1977. His only wife, Priscilla Presley, was considered executor of his estate by the entertainer’s father, Vernon. She then made it her mission to ensure Presley’s legacy lives on, promising to always fulfill the singer’s dreams.

Priscilla reversed the Presley legacy after Elvis’ death

Elvis named Vernon his executor in his will and his daughter Lisa Marie his sole heir. Two years later, Vernon’s will passed responsibility to Priscilla, who stepped into the picture and took a key role as one of the Elvis Presley Estate’s executors.
