Emily Ratajkowski defends ‘other women’ amid Adam Levine cheating scandal

Emily Ratajkowski has broken into Adam Levine’s cheating drama and defended “other women” caught up in such scandals.

On Monday, Instagram model Sumner Stroh posted a video on TikTok that quickly went viral, in which the model and influencer claimed she had a year-long affair with the Maroon 5 frontman, who is married to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo is.

Now Ratajkowski, who recently filed for divorce from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard following cheating allegations, has shared her thoughts on the situation.

“I don’t understand why we keep blaming women for men’s mistakes, especially when it comes to women in their 20s dealing with men in positions of power who are twice their age,” the supermodel said in a tick tock.

“The power dynamic is so distorted, it’s ridiculous. It’s predatory. It’s manipulative,” she continued.

There is no evidence or indication that Stroh and Levine’s relationship was in any way manipulative or predatory, with all actions appearing to be consensual.

Ratajkowski said the person in the relationship has a responsibility to be faithful to their partner, not the other woman or lover.

“If you’re the one in a relationship, you’re the one who has an obligation to be loyal,” she added.

In a second video, the Inamorata founder continued, “I think a big problem in our culture right now is that we’re just like, ‘Oh, men are monsters, they’re terrible, they’re terrible.’

“We don’t hold them accountable and then blame other women.

“We are asking women to change their behavior instead of just saying that men need to change their behavior. This is sexism. This is classic misogyny.”

On Tuesday, after a media storm, Levine finally addressed allegations that he had an affair with Stroh and admitted he “crossed the line.”

“There’s a lot of talk about me right now and I want to get a taste of it,” the 43-year-old singer wrote in an Instagram story. “I used poor judgment when speaking to anyone other than my wife for ANY type of flirtation.

“I didn’t have an affair, yet I crossed a line at an unfortunate time in my life. In certain cases it became inappropriate; I have addressed this and taken proactive steps to resolve this with my family,” he wrote.

“My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. Being naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I will never do it again with full responsibility. We’ll get through it. And we will get through it together,” Levine said.

In her original post, Stroh garnered millions of views when she revealed, “I was having an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret model. I feel used.”

The bombshell was posted just days after Levine’s wife, Prinsloo, eight, shared photos on Instagram confirming the couple are expecting their third child together.

The 23-year-old, meanwhile, responded to Levine’s response, writing on Instagram: “Someone bring this man a dictionary.”
