IT Megaservers for consoles in US and Europe will be under maintenance soon as some backend changes need to be applied to the game.

Similar to every week The Elder Scrolls Online Servers will be shut down today for maintenance on consoles as part of Bethesda’s plan to keep players running smoothly throughout the week.

Unlike console players, PC players were treated to the same maintenance earlier this week, which was then followed by a small update. It remains to be seen whether there will be a new update available for download on consoles after today’s downtime.

Let’s see when the maintenance starts and when it is expected to end.

ESO server status and maintenance plan

According to an official tweet from Bethesda Support on Twitter, The Elder Scrolls Online Servers are shutting down for maintenance May 11 at 3am PT/6am ET/10am UTC/11am BST/12pm CEST. The maintenance is expected to last 6 hourswhich means the servers around are back online 9am PT/12pm ET/4pm UTC/5pm BST/6pm CEST.

During the maintenance, players will not be able to access the game or log into their accounts. If the game gets an update after the maintenance, we will share the patch notes with you in a separate article.

The Elder Scrolls Online is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. You can play it for free through an Xbox or PC Game Pass subscription.

Currently, High Isle is the next big expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, which should arrive in June this year. Each week, Bethesda unveils more details about the new expansion’s lore. High Isle is said to be the first part of Legacy of the Bretons, a new epic adventure that will end in three DLCs.
