Filming on ‘Love Island’ was halted when paramedics rushed to the mansion

This season of love island already promises to be one of the most exciting movies of all time, but maybe even more so because of the excitement behind the scenes. First there was the controversy over historic tweets from a new cast member, and now this.
Love Island 2023 Episode 1 got off to a fairly positive start on Monday. The show didn’t push itself and revealed a twist on day one: the boys and girls entered the villa together.
Things certainly got heated when the islanders were lumped together after public voting. Catherine Agbaye seemed only too happy to be working with André Furtado. The two got along great. Catherine said she felt like she had known André for ages, while he said he only saw green flags. But maybe it got a little too hot.
Paramedics arrive at the mansion
The production went downhill on the first day of shooting when Catherine suddenly fell ill. Production was halted entirely as Catherine’s health was a top priority. Filming was stopped and help was quickly called.
As one source said Mirror: “Catherine was spotted immediately by one of the 24-hour paramedics, resulting in a short break in filming. Once the paramedic was happy with her temperature, she could proceed with the rest of the filming.”
Another source also confirmed, “The heat, the nervousness, and the lack of food intake were the reason that it was her turn and she started filming again not long after.” It’s either that, or the shock, coupled with Andre Furtado becoming was a bit too much to deal with.”
Luckily everything went well and filming continued, so there’s a lot more “Love Island” to come, perhaps with even more unexpected problems.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
