Fire Country renewed for Season 2 on CBS

fire land Things are definitely burning bright at CBS: The drama snagged a Season 2 pickup truck in the middle of its freshman run.

Comes in hot so to speak fire land with its October 7 debut, delivered the largest audience (5.9 million total viewers) for any freshman series premiere that fall. Season-to-date, she has the largest audience of any newcomer series (an average of 8 million weekly viewers with Live+7 viewing) and is also the highest-rated rookie (with an average demo rating of 0.7).

It combines high-stakes action with small-town charm, mystery and romance, and a family franchise at its core. We are blessed to have an incredible team in front of and behind the camera, led by amazing producers and writers, and an exceptionally talented cast.”

Currently airing Fridays at 9/8c, fire land Stars Marine Special Forces Alum Max Thieriot as Bode Donovan, a young convict who, in search of redemption and a reduced sentence, joined a firefighting program that brought him back to his small Northern California hometown, where he and other inmates work with elite firefighters to put out the blazes delete region.

When we last tuned in, a car accident had left a vehicle half-on/half-off the side of a bridge and swaying with the driver and passenger’s siblings inside. With traffic hampering the arrival of further help, it was decided to carefully extricate the passenger from the car – whereupon Bode made the bold decision to climb into the vehicle and extricate/pull the awakened driver out.

But just as he was helping Bode pull the driver out, Battalion Commander Vince (Billy Burke) could only watch as the car tumbled off the bridge and into the river – far below, with his son still inside.
