Frank Fritz hoped to return one day American pickersbut it appears that his current focus is recovering from a stroke in 2022. Rumors circulated that Fritz and Mike Wolfe were no longer friends, but Wolfe tried to dispel the rumors with an Instagram post following Fritz’s stroke.
“I have been very private over the past year about Frank’s life and the journey he has been on,” Wolfe wrote on July 21. “There have been many opinions regarding mine and Frank’s friendship and the show, but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now is the time to pray for my friend.” He ended the post by saying he was praying for Fritz’s recovery.
How is Fritz today? According to The Sun, Fritz’ father said he was “stable” and Fritz’ boyfriend claimed he was “getting better every day”.
He sells oil cans for a hefty price, and some ‘American Pickers’ fans are upset
Although Frank Fritz is still not there American Pickers, he still has his antique shop. Frank Fritz Finds store in Savanna, Illinois sells rare vintage items — but it seems some items cost too much for customers.
According to The Sun, Fritz sells old motor oil cans with his signature for $40 each. Some visitors took to Trip Advisor to smack the store for its pricey items, which probably means there are other overpriced vintage items in the storefront.
“Not much here is worth the asking price,” wrote one visitor on Trip Advisor. “The smell alone is enough to knock out a dead skunk.”
“The ‘store’ was a hallway full of jumbled JUNK,” wrote another fan. “Broken, smelly, overpriced and a total mess. I’ve been on a lot of dives but this one is awesome.”
“High-priced stuff; it’s not really antique,” commented another visitor. “No offers here.”
What is Frank Fritz’s net worth?
Is Frank Fritz’s expensive goods an indication that the ex-American pickers Star hurts for cash? According to Celebrity Net Worth, Fritz’s net worth is around $6 million. Although he currently has no income from the history show, he seems likely to be doing just fine.
However, if Fritz were offered a place again, he would probably take it. “I’d love to come back to the show,” he told The Sun in 2021. “I did it for 11 years.” He then remarked that he had fully recovered from his back surgery and would like to step in.
“I don’t know if they can do it cheaper without having me there or what the situation is like,” Fritz added. “I want to go back on the show, but it depends on the network. It won’t affect me one bit, but I’d love to be back for my fans.”
It doesn’t look like History currently has any plans to invite Fritz back.
