George RR Martin calls ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel ‘gloomy, powerful, instinctive, disturbing, stunning to watch’

As one of the producers, Martin watched all ten episodes in “rough cut” form. And his first reaction is that they are “dark, powerful, visceral, disturbing and stunning to behold.”

George RR Martin says the cast and crew of House of the Dragon did a “great job”.

In a recent update on Martin’s Not A Blog site, he shared that after watching the “rough cuts” of the first 10 episodes, he absolutely loves what he’s seen. He named executive producers Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik and commended them for their work. And he gave props to the rest of the cast and crew.
